We only ordered take out for a few times and the experience was more than wonderful. The server explained the menu in detail, and their Malaysian cuisine is superb! They definitely have the best Mee Goreng I have ever had in U.S. Other dishes were really delicious too~ On the service side, we were waiting for our take out in the car, and the server was kind enough to come out and deliver the food to me. One second after I got into the car, a sudden downpour just happened out of nowhere. So I would have gotten myself soaking wet if he had not come out.... and I didn't even have the chance to tip him because I ordered take out..... Great food, great service, would recommend to anyone :)

We lived in Gatlinburg and came here for a relief from pizza and crazy traffic in Gatlinburg downtown. The extra star is only for lo mein, thai chicken fried rice and chicken satay. This definitely not the place to "try" stuff. The worst part of my experience was the waitresses. She got on our nerves with her "Tell me how many glasses of water you want. You will say you want more later!" and her stupid oily broth with raw pieces of mushroom in the name of mushroom soup. They kept acting busy though only three tables were occupied with large parties- around 25 people. I may be too harsh but this city is frequented by tourists in large numbers. I can't see why they should be flabbergasted to see more than 10 heads.

We were in Pigeon Forge on vacation over Labor Day weekend and wanted to get out of the crowds. Found this gem on Yelp and am glad we tried it. I generally do not like Asian food but this was fantastic. The waitress helped my 3 year old learn to use chopsticks. Fun time and great food!

Food was very good and the waitress was very helpful and friendly. Large portions. Good value for the money. Glad we found this place!

We got takeout from this restaurant and we're pleasantly surprised. The owners are from Malaysia but the restaurant has that cuisine plus Chinese and Thai. The inside of the restaurant is done well with earth tones and a simple but sophisticated decor. We had the Singapore noodles and Mongolian chicken and I recommend both. We also tried the eggplant dish which was okay. Overall we had a great experience and it was a nice cuisine change on our trip!

I really like that their menu has a variety to choose from. The food is pretty good, but the hibachi meals were the best from what I treated from my groups food. The veggie dumplings were also very tasty. My group had a lot of changes to their orders and the waitress handled it really well. I know I would've been frustrated!

Stopped by on snowy weeknight while on a biz trip. Quick, pleasant service. Ordered Lemongrass Vegetables and Tofu with white rice. Lovely taste and presentation. A little pricey for a veggie dish, but this is a tourist town. Now I'm inspired to visit the Fusion near my house!

This is the best restaurant in Pigeon Forge and Sevierville. The guy that runs it is from Queens, so he knows what's up. Jenny and Jerry are sweethearts. The food is friggin good. Eat here or you will die.

I was glad to find good Chinese food in Pigeon Forge. The staff was so friendly and the food was average. I had some curry noodles with tofu and vegetables and really all I tasted was noodles. My boyfriend's beef with peppers in a brown sauce was tasty. The steamed pork potstickers appetizer was also good. After dinner they brought us some delicious pastries which was a nice surprise. I would give this place another try, if I'm ever back in Pigeon Forge.

Friendly service. The menu had a mixture of Chinese, Thai, and Malaysian. They also had real authentic Chinese dishes. Thai fried rice was hot & spicy, just the way I like it!

Service was nice and our entrees were fantastic. It could have been a bit spicier but it was perfect for our kids. Definitely the best meal I have had here in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area.

Out in the area for vacation from DC and my wife and I had the house chicken curry and the panang curry. Both were delicious with just enough heat. And the wait staff was the nicest I have had in a long time. Will definitely stop here next time I am in the area.

The menu has good variety with Thai and Chinese food. Ordered red curry and something our waitress recommended. The food was fresh and fragrant. Not greasy. The decor is tasteful and pleasing. The service was excellent. To would highly recommend this restaurant.

Delicious tasty and fresh food... In a strip mall right off the main drag..check it out while in town.. Lunch prices are easy on the wallet.

Overall: food is horrible. Courtesy is okay Pros: Courtesy is nice Speed is good Cons: -The Malaysian rice literally is made up of regular tomato ketchup, she even told us by accident. - many of the appetizers are made up of your regular Pizza Hut spices especially the satay. - the chef forgot to put carrots and said that the dish has changed in Malaysia (Malaysian noodles) -All the sauces taste the same but have different colors - not spicy or sweet

Lady server came greeted us and said you want hot tea, right? Two of us said yeah.. She brought a pot of hot tea and cups for all of us and charged $2 each. Then she never came around. Normally Chinese place brings hot tea out as complimentary. Oh well, Seafood curry was recommended by our server and was greasy and not good at all. It was my mistake of going to a fusion asian with some expectation, should have known better.

I had a taste for Thai food. Based on reviews and proximity, we tried Fusion Cafe. While my meal was great, on balance, I have to rate this place low. I had the Panang Curry Chicken. Very good. I tried to order wide rice noodles instead of rice. The language gap made this really hard. What I ended up with was 2 meals. The wide rice noodles came out as a rice noodle and chicken dish. Not the end of the world other than cost. I moved the noodles into my bowl of Panang Curry Chicken. My wife had a thin rice noodle and shrimp dish. The shrimp were WAY overcooked. Hard and rubbery. Our friends each had a salmon dish. There salmon was tough and nearly inedible. There was enough of each meal to be filling, so we didn't sent anything back. We shared our thoughts with our waitress at the end of the meal. She was apologetic and offered replacement good. She did not offer to adjust the bill. That's fine. We didn't ask or press it. We will vote with our feet. There was a cleanliness issue with the Women's bathroom that I don't want to detail here but it has to do with "typical restaurant issues" that could happen anywhere. Bottom line is: Get the Panang Curry Chicken and if you you don't care for your meal, advise the waitress immediately.

These reviews are spot on. We went there last night and I had the House Curry Chicken. Very good! The waitress did the tableside smoke thing and smoked up the whole restaurant. Still can't figure out where all the smoke came from. I'm going to add this to our to do list when we come here every year.

If I had to eat another "homestyle" meal in Pigeon Forge I would go mad. I tried this place based on yelp reviews. As stated before, this place is an island of new flavors in a sea of mediocrity. Their soups were perfect on a cold rainy November night. The noodles were so good that we were tempted to totally overfill our stomachs with the large portions. We didn't want to stop! The consolation was that we would get to have this wonderful food in the comfort over our home from our doggy bags. This place is a MUST!

Dan and I read the reviews and decided to give it a try. The Tom Kum soup was exactly what I needed. We had the Roti Canai (the red curry sauce was amazing), the chicken lettuce wraps, and the salt & pepper calamari. Loved the calamari which was perfectly done and was served with grilled onions & green peppers and what I can only describe as a salsa . Dan ordered the Szechuan beef and I helped polish it off. Every thing was delicious, hot things were hot, both temperature and spice. The service was excellent and fast. Can't wait to come back and try the curry chicken. Will certainly recommend and return ASAP!

My man and I ate here twice while staying in pigeon forge. It was so good. The first time we went we tried noodles. I got a yellow curry noodle and he got some kind of rice noodles, they were both really really good. The curry noodles had just a touch of spice, which was perfect. Our waitress was the best. Super friendly, and helpful. We'll be back when we're in town.

Horrible experience. The only thing decent was the empty place and immediate attention from the service staff. Salty food and very small portions. Very bad management, picked on one year old sampling from mom's plate, that too when he was eating tofu... He went on to charge for the 1 year old for the salad bar... Pathetic. Get more business not rip off the guys that show up at your door....

Fresh vegetables, flavorful entrees, all-you-can-eat salad (for 1.99). Amazing service! This place is perfect for vegetarians (as well as meat-eaters). Very reasonably priced entrees (hard to find in Pigeon Forge area) and wonderful selection of nutrient-rich entrees (also hard to find in this area). The staff couldn't have been more friendly and attentive. The house dressing from the salad bar is delicious! Portions are large and filling. Would have eaten here every night if we knew about it the first night!

We tried this great little restaurant after reading the review on Yelp and are so glad we did! You'd never know it from the outside, but the menu is lengthy and the selection terrific. The decor is clean, warm and fits the food vibe. We had hibachi chicken and shrimp, sesame chicken and chicken lo mein and everything was well prepared and very tasty. The service was friendly and prompt. We will definitely go back.

We were doing some outlet shopping and my wife was craving Hibachi. She can be finicky about eating out... Cleanliness, food-quality, service, & etc. We eat out a lot and we were both very pleased. We will be back. A few key points: 1. Very good pricing, especially in a tourist trap 2. Seemed quite clean 3. We did not see sushi on the menu... Odd for multi-Asian cuisine 4. Delicious hibachi and good soup selection 5. Pleasant service

I wasn't as impressed as other reviewers. The food was good. My favorite was the crab rangoons appetizer. We also had Kung Pao chicken and Pad Thai with beef. If the review were on food alone, I'd leave it at 4.5 stars - better than you would expect... but I've had better. Alas, the service left a little to be desired. Perhaps we were there at the wrong time, but we came during the dinner rush and there were maybe 5 tables occupied - all served by 1 waitress. She was very sweet and a great waitress, but as she continued to fill the restaurant, she quickly became overwhelmed. Many tables were becoming frustrated with long waits and empty glasses. Why any restaurant would try doing business with one waitress during the peak hour on a Friday night during the peak season is beyond me. 3 stars for that, but I would easily recommend it to anyone looking for good Asian food in PIgeon Forge.

Doesn't like this place. The beef in the rice noodle is hard. The portion is small and price is high. They automatically add 15% tip to your bill, and wish for you to give them another one again! So greedy.

    (1)
  • Mike U.

My first impression is this place is bland. It is off the main drag, very quiet and the food was very, very bland. We had the pad thai and it tasted like ketchup, the lo mein was salty and the tea was weak and flavorless. They also added a tip into bill for our small group of five, which I don't like All in all, I would not return.

I LOVE YELP! Seriously... What did we do when traveling before Yelp? 9 hours from home, want Chinese food, so I open Yelp and Boom! I'm .3 miles away from a place with fantastic reviews. I trust fellow Yelpers so I say we're going there. And they did not disappoint! I walked in and was promptly and warmly greeted. I grabbed a menu and was blown away by the selection! Chinese, Japanese, and Thai! Wondeful! I walked in wanting Chinese, but I ended up ordering the Teriyaki Salmon. I also got the Beef & Broccoli for my girlfriend. It only took about 10 minutes for the order to come out! Like the other reviewers have stated, this place is a GEM! Don't overlook this one amongst all the chainy touristy traps.

What an amazing find off the beaten path! I think this was the cleanest restaurant I've ever dined in. The decor and lighting was simple, tastefully done and warm. Service was great but off tourist season found me dining with just one other couple. I was nervous at the lack of customers but the waitress was so friendly and welcoming that I decided to give it a try. I started with the Salt and Pepper Calamari as an appetizer. Incredibly well prepared, very light and flavorful breading. This was served with what I can only describe as a salsa. I thought it odd, but it was an amazing compliment to the dish. I'd rate this dish as moderately spicy. This was absolutely the best calamari I have ever tasted. My Tom Kha Soup sat waiting for my attention until I finished every last morsel of calamari. The Thai soup, hot and sour with lemongrass, is a favorite of mine. Again, the flavors were well balanced and delicious. Simply perfect. My main course was Mongolian style scallop and beef; a dish I had never tried. This was not my favorite dish but that reflects personal taste only. It was well prepared with generous amounts of beef and scallops amongst a mountain of vegetables. I ate less than half and stopped because I was full. The remainder filled a takeout container and I finished the rest the next day. I can't give an honest review of this dish because it just wasn't my thing. I am returning to Tennessee in February and will absolutely re-visit this restaurant and I am looking forward to it. Great little family owned restaurant. On a side note, I chatted with the waitress who explained the lack of customers. She said for lunch and on weekend nights they are very busy. During the week nights they do more take-out business. That was readily visible as I observed a steady stream of take out orders leaving the restaurant while I dined.

Clean restaurant, good food, friendly waitress. It's in a small strip mall, tucked away from the main strip of Pigeon Forge and totally worth seeking out. The calamari has great seasoning and the pad thai was great.

A Great local Favorite! It's a little bit hidden and out of the main tourist area, near Kroger, but definitely worth looking for. We probably eat here one or two times a week. The food is very good and the service is amazing. We have not had a bad meal here, but have to say the Curry Mee Noodle Soup (very spicy) is my favorite. Have not had this anywhere else but I really love this dish here. The Lemon Grass, Kung Poa, Basil, and the Mongolian dishes are also great and among our top favorites.

Food is Amazing. Service is unbeatable. Fusion is a hidden gem in the heart of Pigeon Forge. If you want hibachi, Chinese, Thai and much more. Try the hot and sour soup and the Kung Poa chicken.

I had the challenge of finding interesting meals in Pigeon Forge while hanging in this strange town due to my daughter's anime con. The desk clerk at my motel tried to steer me elsewhere-- to one the chains that dominate the dining options-- but I ignored her advice, to my ultimate delight. My charming waitress, learning I'd lived in NYC, urged me to try something from the "Authentic Asian Cuisine" section of the menu. Several of the dishes are from the owner's native Malaysia. The House Curry Chicken was superb, an absolutely killer dish! A half fried chicken in pieces was served on a banana leaf. The luscious red curry sauce was poured over the chicken at the table to dramatic effect owing to the heated metal serving plate, but that would have mattered little had the curry not been utterly glorious. I ended up eating all 3 of my meals in Pigeon Forge at Fusion! Malaysian cuisine isn't something I've much sampled, so I focused on them. An appetizer called Roti Canai was wonderful, with a sauce similar to Panang. I saved the sauce to augment the flavor profile of my Curry Mee Noodle Soup with shrimp, which had the least interesting flavor profile of the dishes I had at fusion. My third meal was Malaysian Beef Rendang, a third wonderful take on curry, most like a Thai yellow. For my taste, the beef could have been more thoroughly trimmed of fat-- other cultures are less obsessive-- and if I find myself back, I'll see if the dish can be modified as chicken or shrimp. They have a wide range of Chinese, Hibachi and Thai dishes, which I can't imagine aren't good, but Malaysian cuisine in Pigeon Forge? I'll take it every time.

Great atmosphere. Great service. The food was a bit salty for my taste but otherwise delicious. Too bad they are off a back street. If they were on the main hwy, they would have so much more business. Definately a recommended spot.

Offers Chinese, Japanese, and Indian style food. We had the Sesame Chicken and Moo Goo Gai Pan. Great portion size - even had to take some home. Service was fast and friendly. Price was reasonable. Under $20 for the two of us.
